Climbing outdoors can offer a more natural and in some ways a more challenging environment than climbing indoors at a climbing or bouldering wall. This can sometimes make it seem quite daunting to someone who has not done it before. The British Mountaineering Council (BMC) is the representative body that exists to protect the freedoms and promote the interests of climbers, hill walkers and mountaineers, including ski-mountaineers. The BMC recognises that climbing, hill walking and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.

Indoor Climbing centers in Hastings have climbing areas for children and adults of all ages and abilities, all you have to do is turn up during opening hours. No experience or booking is required to use the Bouldering (Un-roped Climbing) areas - Just turn up, pay and climb.
